This quick tip shows you how to quickly enter the same formula or text in multiple Excel cells at the same time. This is very useful when you need to paste a formula into all cells of a column, or fill all empty cells in a table with the same value (e.g. “N/A” ). Both tricks work in Microsoft Excel 365, 2019, 2013, 2010 and 2007.

  1. Select Multiple Cells where you want to add values. Hold Ctrl Key and click on cells.
  2. Enter Value into First Cell where you want to start or select blank cells first
  1. Just Press Ctrl + Enter
  1. Done.
